A typical job search experience
Applying to internships and graduate jobs is a massive pain.
There's so many jobs out there, but most of them pay peanuts and aren't worth applying to. Do you really want to be living off of £25K/year in London?
There's a lot of places where you can find graduate jobs: LinkedIn, Gradcracker, Bright Network... The list goes on. But in our opinion, these websites are all flawed.
Firstly, most of the jobs on these websites are for companies you've never heard of. Where are the Googles, the Metas, the Amazons?
Secondly, most of these jobs don't have salaries listed. This means every time you want to find the salary you're going to have to face the annoying Glassdoor sign-in prompt 😒.
When most people go job hunting, they resort to manually searching up companies they're interested in, checking if they have a graduate programme, and adding them to a spreadsheet if they do.
This is a long and boring process that no-one should have to go through.
The most frustrating part of this process is that most of the companies you end up searching for won't actually have a graduate job open at the time of search. This means you have to keep going back to check until the job opens—and sometimes the job never opens!
After hours of curating the spreadsheet of jobs you want to apply to, the real work can begin. You get to finally apply to these jobs.
Great. But now you have to keep track of your job applications.
And to do this you'll likely resort to another sh*tty spreadsheet 🫠.
Solving these problems with GradFlow
To make the process of searching for a graduate job as painless as possible, we've created a centralised job list with all the best graduate jobs in tech.
Each job has its salary listed based on the most reliable source. If the salary is listed on the company's website, that information will be used. If not, salary data from Glassdoor will be used.
One key feature of the job list is that jobs will be displayed even if they haven't opened yet.
You can click on a job you're interested in, and choose to receive a notification when the job opens.
This means you won't have to repeatedly check company websites to see if jobs you're interested in have opened.
We've also built an interview tracker, so you can finally ditch the spreadsheets.
This integrates seamlessly with the job list. When you mark a job as applied, it will automatically get added to the interview tracker.
Here's a video of the interview tracker:
What's next?
Currently there are around fifty jobs listed. But in the coming months, there will be hundereds more (from both the UK and USA).
There are also many more features which we intend to add over the coming months.
